Video Review: That's It That's All

Wow I haven't posted anything in a while! So here you go:

I've probably watched over 20 snowboard DVDs so far this season and in the next few weeks I'm going to post a few reviews of my favorites. I'm going to start these reviews off strong with the benchmark that I believe all videos should aspire to emulate.

When I first came across the previews for That's It That's All over the summer I knew it had potential to be the movie of the year. I mean, the cinematography alone shown on the trailers appeared to be straight out of those awesome wildlife shows on the Discovery Channel. After learning that the film was produced over 2 years, filmed using 2 helicopters and 2 HD cameras, and after reading of the A-list of riders I knew that this would be a better film than even the likes of Warren Miller could shoot.

When I finally had the opportunity to watch the premier of the film at the Toronto Ski and Snowboard Show I was completely blown away. It totally lived up to the hype. Combined with amazing cinematography, humorous quips by Mark Landvik, banger parts by all the riders, and a stellar sountrack to match, this film delivered like no other.

A few of the highlights include the park runs at Snowpark NZ (played to Justice's "Waters of Nazereth"), massive tree bonks in the Jackson Hole backcountry (played to MGMT's "Kids"), and Jeremy Jones' epic 2000 foot helmet cam spine run in AK. All this, captured in HD, for your viewing pleasure. I left out a lot of details that you must see for yourself.

I can't give Curt Morgan, Quiksilver, and Red Bull enough credit for creating this masterpiece. This movie is a must own for 2009. Go out and get yourself a copy before they sell out.

No problem. This is one of the best.
If you're in the Toronto area I can tell you where you can find it at a great price.
